We’re excited to be back together! Pastor Dan, along with NLC leadership, have been carefully and prayerfully monitoring guidelines and best practices for gathering safely and receiving guidance from our county health department and Mattawan Schools to help make wise decisions as we move forward. Here’s what our campuses will look like for the foreseeable future.

Touchless Experience + Safety Guidelines

We are taking the following health and safety precautions to make every effort to protect our communities.

Advising families to stay home and watch online if any of the following are true:

  • If you’re not feeling well or have had a fever in the last 14 days
  • If you have been in contact with anyone in the past 14 days that has tested positive for COVID-19
  • If you’re elderly or immunocompromised

To help mitigate the spread of COVID19, we are:

  • Masks are required to be worn as you walk into, through, and out of the building. While standing or seated in worship, you are able to remove your masks during the service, but as you move around, just like that the grocery store, we ask you to wear your masks. We want to keep people safe and keep our doors open. We can do this together. Masks will be available if you do not have one.
  • Placing additional hand-sanitizers throughout the building
  • Creating a “touchless service” where sharing of pens, print material and offering buckets are not available. Please download the NLC app to take message notes, ask for prayer, join a life group, give, register to take next steps of faith, and listen to past messages. 
  • Ask before you reach: Don’t assume people want a hug or handshake
  • Seating every other row in the auditorium to help socially distance between families

Please follow proper CDC recommendations:

  • Avoid close contact
  • Wash your hands often
  • Cover coughs and sneezes
  • Encourage wearing a face mask
  • Encourage social distancing

NEW LIFE KIDS

NLC Kids is available during our weekend services for ages 2 through 5th grade. Kid’s teachers and volunteers will carry hand sanitizer at all times and wear masks. Each child will receive a touch free temperature check before entering. We are working with Mattawan Schools to properly sanitize everything in the kids ministry area (cafeteria) before and after each service. Please bring your infants into the auditorium with you.

Although our Mattawan Campus is reopening within reasonable safety guidelines, we understand the Church is not a building, and many families will continue to worship from home.

Our full online experience will continue to be available for all of our weekend services. We’re so thankful for you choosing to worship with us, whether it’s from home or in a church building. More than ever, we are ONE CHURCH in MANY LOCATIONS—Spirit led, dynamic, diverse—serving people, developing leaders, expressing irrational generosity, impacting generations.
