Pastor Dan and his wife Kelsey Smith are the founders of New Life Church, a thriving church dedicated to serving people, developing leaders, expressing irrational generosity, and impacting generations. Their heart for the local church has marked their lives in unique ways. Dan was saved in college at The University of Austin and immediately developed a hunger to work in the church at whatever capacity, whether volunteer, youth leader, or discipleship pastor. Kelsey grew up planted in the local church, serving on worship teams since middle school.

In September of 2016, New Life Church launched with a heart to reach the lost, and for people to find a place to call home. Dan and Kelsey truly consider it one of their greatest honors to get to lead New Life Church and are thrilled to get to walk alongside so many people finding freedom. They have two girls, Harper and Gracie who love New Life Church just as much as they do. Their prayer is that you can find New Life Church a life-giving place for you to call home!

We are protected by Trustees. The Trustees are five to seven members of the congregation who oversee the finances and direct the provision of the facilities needed by the church. They provide counsel to the Lead Pastor and Senior Leadership team regarding the major financial commitments of the church.
The Trustees serve as non-staff Elders.

We are strengthened by Overseers. The Overseers are three to five pastors of nationally respected ministries who love New Life Church and are willing to provide spiritual protection. They may be called in to help in accountability matters relating to the Lead Pastor if requested by the Pastors or Trustees. The Overseers serve as Apostolic Elders.
