Pastor Dan and his wife Kelsey Smith are the founders of New Life Church, a thriving church dedicated to serving people, developing leaders, expressing irrational generosity, and impacting generations. Their heart for the local church has marked their lives in unique ways. Dan was saved in college at The University of Texas at Austin and immediately developed a hunger to work in the church at whatever capacity, whether volunteer, youth leader, or discipleship pastor. Kelsey grew up planted in the local church, serving on worship teams since middle school.

In September of 2016, New Life Church launched with a heart to reach the lost, and for people to find a place to call home. Dan and Kelsey truly consider it one of their greatest honors to get to lead New Life Church and are thrilled to get to walk alongside so many people in finding freedom. They have two girls and a son, Harper, Gracelyn, and Oliver, who love New Life Church just as much as they do. Their prayer is that you can find New Life Church a life-giving place for you to call home!
