What Is Tithing?

A tithe—simply means “tenth”—and is defined as faithfully bringing the first 10% of a person’s income back to the church to accomplish God's mission and share in its blessings.

In Malachi 3:10—God promises that when we bring back to His church the first tenth of what He's given to us, He will open Heaven and pour out His blessing and protection over our lives and homes. Simply put, when we take care of God's house, He promises to take care of our house.
