Adonai: Is Jesus Really Lord of Your Life?

In this message, Chris Rand continues the Names of God series by teaching on Adonai, meaning Lord, Master, Owner, and Ruler. Through the lives of Abram and Moses, we are reminded that God is sovereign over our story, His call does not depend on our credentials, and following Jesus means surrendering every part of our lives under His lordship.

When Abram had questions, Adonai met him with patience and covenant faithfulness. When Moses felt unqualified, Adonai reminded him that the call depends on God’s power, not human ability. And when Jesus calls us to follow Him, He invites us to lay down our lives, trust His authority, and step into obedience.

This sermon is a call to stop strong-arming life, surrender to Jesus, and trust that the One who holds everything in His hand is faithful to lead us.
